There is diversity within our constituency on this issue--expressed by leaders at Banff, and since then. For some, dancing is a neutral recreational activity, depending on the context. But for some it is not, and the fact that the planning team condoned dancing at Banff created a real problem in relation to their position on dancing. We apologize for the offence this caused, and also for putting people into a difficult position as parents and leaders, especially because of the lack of advance notice.
Our desire is that youth will grow towards the marks of a fully devoted follower of Christ. Let us continue to pray and work together toward this end.
