Aldon and Betty Loeppky began service as senior pastor couple of Culloden MB Church in Vancouver on Feb. 1. They previously served as pastor couple of Harrison Gospel Chapel in Harrison Hot Springs, B.C. for nine years and as a pastoral intern couple at Kennedy Heights MB Church in Delta, B.C. for a year and a half. Aldon has B.R.E. and M.A. degrees from Briercrest Bible College and Seminary. Betty, also a Briercrest graduate, currently serves as an administrative assistant for MB Missions/Services in the B.C. MB Conference office in Abbotsford. The Loepkys have two sons, Chris, 21, and Chad, 18, and a daughter, Cory, 17.

Hwee Yan Tang will become associate pastor of Vancouver Chinese MB Church in Vancouver in May. He was a Presbyterian pastor in Singapore for five years, then earned an M.Div. in England and another M.Div. at Regent College in Vancouver. He is single, speaks only English and will primarily serve the English congregation at Vancouver Chinese MB Church.
