Convention 1996 to have a new look: Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The SERVE 2000 motif will be evident throughout the 1996 Canadian MB Conference convention in Winnipeg, July 11-14.

At its retreat in Saskatoon in August, 1995, the Canadian MB Conference Executive Board agreed to make significant changes to our biennial conventions.

People want more inspirational sessions, more significant interaction with others and training opportunities which will assist in effective ministry. The result? Start from scratch, and shape a convention with a clear purpose in mind.

Our goal, under the SERVE 2000 theme, will be to prepare each delegate to serve more effectively within the home church. We extend a special welcome to all leaders who want to pick up ministry tools for service.
