A new executive director has been appointed at Bethesda Home, the Ontario MB Conference ministry to adults with developmental disabilities. The appointment was announced by the Bethesda Board at the Ontario MB Conference convention February 23.
The new executive director is Brian Davies. He has worked at Bethesda since July, 1985, first in the finance department, then in the finance and administration department, and for the last four years as director of Bethesda Home. Brian lives in Niagara Falls, Ont. with his wife Ruth and children Nathan, Megan and Bailey.
Bethesda is operated by the Ontario MB Conference, but has an annual budget of over $8 million, almost all of it provided by the Ontario government. Bethesda has 42 clients at its original Bethesda Home facility in Vineland, Ont., 30 in various group homes and 50 living with families in the community. It also provides assessments for up to 1400 adults with developmental disabilities in the Niagara, Hamilton and Brant regions of Ontario.
