Carl Ibbotson became the new associate pastor of youth ministries at Tofield (Alta.) Gospel Church effective Apr. 15. He grew up in Germany, the son of missionaries, and completed high school in Germany. He has a B.R.E. from Prairie Bible College, Three Hills, Alta., and has some previous youth pastor experience. He and his wife, Terryll, have 3 children, Markus, 3, Keisha, 1, and baby Dayton.

Tony Martens became half-time associate pastor at Herbert (Sask.) MB Church effective Feb. 1. He is working with youth as well as attending Briercrest Biblical Seminary in Caronport, Sask. pursuing an M.Div. He has served as part-time youth pastor at Dalmeny MB Church for a year while attending the University of Saskatchewan where he received a Bachelor of Commerce.

Leonard Doerksen resigned as pastor at Hepburn (Sask.) MB Church effective Apr. 30 after serving over three years. He has been an instructor at Winkler Bible Institute for 8 years and at Columbia Bible Institute for 10 years. He has served as senior pastor at Greendale (B.C.) MB Church for 10 years. He and his wife, Esther, have moved to Abbotsford, B.C. and are open to interim pastoral ministry. They have 5 children and 15 grandchildren.

Herb Wiebe has resigned as youth pastor at Westwood Community Church in Winnipeg effective June 15 after serving two-and-a-half years. He and his wife Linda have served as missionaries in Bogota, Colombia for four-and-a-half years and at Waldheim (Sask.) MB Church while attending Bethany Bible Institute. He will continue working in the flooring business, where he has worked part-time. Linda works in a real estate office. They have two sons, Herb Jr., 17 and Matt, 16.

Andrew Dyck will become full-time music minister at King Road MB Church in Abbotsford, B.C. effective mid-July. He recently graduated with an M.A. in church leadership with a concentration in worship and music. He also has a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation and has worked as a physiotherapist for 8 years in Winnipeg. His wife Martha is a music teacher, and has a B.R.S. from MBBC and a B.A. from the University of Winnipeg. They have 3 children, Theodore, 8, Jonathan, 6, and Philip, 2.

Main Centre (Sask.) MB Church celebrated its "March for Missions" with the theme "Changing the World". Each Sunday in March featured different church members and organizations: Dora Wall described her work at Herbert Group Home. Calvin Penner spoke about the Gideons and asked for prayer since the Bible cannot be distributed in some schools in Saskatchewan. Heidi Kurapli of St. Gallen, Switzerland, who is on an MCC exchange program, shared her compelling testimony. Cliff and Marg Scott, TEAM missionaries to Japan, served a Japanese dinner and made an evening presentation. Jim Ritskes of Westbank Bible Camp informed the church about increased enrollment and the demand for bigger and better camps. A drama group from Bethany Bible Institute and the chorale from Millar College of the Bible gave presentations. Money was raised for Kingdom Ventures and MB Missions/Services' "Change the World" campaign.
