I would like to share my life story with you. I was born in Winkler, Manitoba in 1958 to Bernard and Lydia Froese. I am the youngest, raised in a family of five, and I am special. Our family moved to Winnipeg in 1966. I attended the developmental classes at John Pritchard School.

I have had my ups and downs in my life too. A year and a half ago, I had to let go of someone who was very dear and close to me. My dad died from cancer; he had Leukemia. I knew that my dad couldn't get better. I prayed every day that he could be healed, but the Lord had other plans in store for my dad. My dad died peacefully on October 19th, 1994 at the Concordia Hospital. He was a well-known doctor for many years.

I can't do some things that other kids can do, like going on dates or having a boy friend or getting married and having a family together. The Lord has helped me cope with these things.

I cheer people up by sending them cards when they have lost someone who was very close to them, or I send cards to people who are having a hard time coping with things on their minds. I am working at Donwood Manor personal care home. I am an activity helper. I really enjoy my work.

I am a member of the Eastview Community Church. I became a Christian in 1974.
