Rob and Brenda Wall have become the new half-time youth pastor couple at Mountain Park Community Church in Abbotsford, B.C. effective Apr. 1. Rob is completing a B.R.E. from Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford. He has been a youth sponsor at the church for five years. He is also involved with BaseCamp, an organization which takes youth on an "extreme wilderness experience", providing opportunities for evangelism. They have two children, David, 6, and Dakota, 2.

The International Bible Society of Canada , based in Burlington, Ont., opened a western regional office in Abbotsford, B.C. April 1. It is headed by Ross Johnston, a member of Mountain Park Community Church in Abbotsford. He has Th.B., M.R.E. and M.Div. degrees from Canadian Nazarene College and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has also pastored for 15 years and has been involved in organizations such as Bob Larson Ministries, Mission Without Borders, and Romanian Children's Medical Aid.

Northwest Community Church, Meadow Lake, Sask., held a special service May 12, honouring mothers. After the morning service, the men from the congregation served brunch.

The Red River Quartet, a southern Gospel singing quartet made up of Concord College alumni performed benefit concerts in Kitchener (Ont.) MB Church on May 25 and Scott St. MB Church in St. Catharines, Ont. on May 26. The group includes Matt Bartel, Mark Bartel, Chris Enns and Greg Cooper. They were accompanied by pianist Graham Neuman and guitarist Jim Warner.
