dc Talk's Jesus Freak: The Single audiovision CD (AVCD) has sold over 80,000 units, making it the third best-selling enhanced CD, behind albums by the Rolling Stones and Sarah McLachlan. "A lot of people are surprised at the numbers we've sold because it's unprecedented for a Christian act on an independent label to do as well as dc Talk has done, particularly for the enhanced dc." The enhanced CD can be played on a computer, and includes music videos, interview footage, lyrics, and additional interactive tools.

The Mennonite Central Committee World Wide Web site has recorded 330,311 visits since going on line one year ago, averaging 1,500 visits per day during the past six months. The site contains a search function that allows visitors to quickly find information by typing in key words. Point Communications rates the site in the top five percent of World Wide Web sites and a Magellan, World Wide Web search engine, has given the site four stars, their highest rating. A new video from Mennonite Central Committee titled, Non-violence in a Violent World, features a talk-show format in which teens grapple with the issue of how to maintain a commitment to non-violence. The 40-minute video is accompanied by a discussion guide for junior and senior high youth. It is available for free loan from MCC Canada 204-261-6381.

The four countries with the highest distribution of Bibles in 1995 were China (2 million), the United States (1.9 million), Brazil (1.8 million) and Korea (1.2 million) according to United Bible Societies. A total of 564,436,267 Scriptures were distributed by 120 national Bible Societies working in more than 200 countries and territories. This total does not include Bibles distributed by other organizations.

Herald Press's Seven Things Children Need by John M. Drescher will be translated into Dutch, bringing the total number of published translations of the book to 14. Other languages are Afrikaans, Arabic, Chinese, Finnish, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Thai. The "seven things" are significance, security, acceptance, love, praise, discipline and God.
