New MCE director appointed

WINNIPEG, MAN.

The Manitoba MB Conference Board of Missions and Church Extension has announced the appointment of Cliff Janzen to the position of MCE director. Janzen comes to this position after nine years as pastor of South Abbotsford (B.C.) MB Church. He has also served as senior pastor of Grantham MB Church in St. Catharines, Ont. and as director of Redberry Bible Camp near Waldheim, Sask.

As director of MCE, Janzen will oversee Simonhouse Bible Camp, Headingly Correctional Institute chaplaincy, international student ministry, Cornerstone Counselling and six churches which are still under the umbrella of MCE.

Janzen and his wife Edith will relocate to Winnipeg in September. He will begin his ministry October 1.
