The student summer ministry team, Vision Team, led in worship. President Jim Pankratz described 1995-96 as a good year, a year of challenges and a year of unexpected strengths.
Then, Board chair Al Doerksen, Board member Art DeFehr, Canadian Mennonite Bible College president John Neufeld and Menno Simons College president George Richert outlined the draft proposal for a Mennonite university federation involving Concord, CMBC and Menno Simons College. About half an hour was allowed for discussion of the proposal, but no recommendations were presented for decision.
On Saturday afternoon, an alumni homecoming celebration was held for former students of Concord and of its predecessor, Mennonite Brethren Bible College.
