Tupac Shakur, 25, Los Angeles-based gangsta rapper died in September from gunshot wounds suffered in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. Shakur, whose history of violence resulted in numerous arrests and a prison stint for sexual abuse, was driving to a nightclub with the head of his record company (Dr. Dre's Death Row Records) when they were fired on from another car. Shot four times, the controversial performer died six days later. One of rap's most famous talents, Shakur was known for his clever but often violent lyrics and strong, tight melodies. His most recent album, All Eyez on Me has sold 5 million copies.--
