Glencairn MB Church in Kitchener, Ont. hired four part-time staff effective May 1, 1996, each for a two-year contract at 10 hours per week. Jane Peck has been hired as administrative director. She has a bachelor's degree from Emmanuel Bible College, is licensed with the Evangelical Missionary Church and has worked at Turning Point home for girls and Christian Horizons. Her husband is Don. Sharon Johnson has been hired as Christian education director. She has an M.A. in Christian education from MB Biblical Seminary, has been involved in Canadian conference and Ontario conference CE board work and in CE leadership at Glencairn. She and her husband Mark have three children, Matt, 14, Heather, 12 and Chris, 10. Frank and Libby Peters have been hired as a couple to be youth directors. Libby, an Australian, is finishing her degree in youth ministry. Frank is currently pursuing a B.A. in psychology, specializing in youth culture. Both have wide experience in volunteer work.

Lyndon Gliege has resigned as camp director of Redberry Bible Camp near Waldheim, Sask. effective Apr. 30, 1997, completing three years of service as camp director. Previously, Lyndon worked 3 summers on camp staff and has studied at Millar College of the Bible in Pambrun, Sask. His wife Carolyn graduates in May, 1997 from a food services administration program at Kelsey Technical Institute in Saskatoon. They are seeking God's direction for their future.

Sadie Stobbe of Grace MB Church in Pentiction, B.C. has begun Fellowship Coffee Times, a first-Tuesday-morning-of-the-month informal meeting for ladies from the church. Each woman is paired with a "special friend" for the month, with whom they are to talk and pray for throughout the month. The group meets in the conference room of a local restaurant to read devotionals, share concerns and pray.

Foam Lake Gospel Fellowship Church held a special missions Sunday on Nov. 17. Isaac Wiebe, representing Mennonite Brethren Missions/Services, addressed the adult Sunday school while pastor Dennis and Faith Friesen of Foam Lake presented the children with an innovative missions lesson. Gordon and Gwen Nickel from Bethany Bible Institute spoke in the morning and evening services telling of their experiences as missionaries to Pakistan. The ladies hosted an international potluck supper before the second service
