Events like the Cinderella dress-alike contest saw the ladies using supplies at hand to dress up their chosen models. Prince Charming himself came to pick the best dressed lady Mrs. Susie Wiens, 80+, so beautifully put together, and smiling warmly. Games like hula hooping, straw blowing and hockey pucking kept the ladies busy. Mom's Morning Break put together a fashion show with outfits from "way back when days".
Shirley Loewen then spoke to the ladies on The Cinderella Syndrome. She reminded the ladies of the grace of God. Sometimes women feel like Cinderella--old and tired in their daily lives; imperfections leading to disillusionment. The ladies were encouraged to write down their hurts, failures and disappointments and then bring them to God to become all they could in His strength. The verses "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness", and Those who look to Him are radiant, their faces never covered with shame", were an encouragement to the ladies to take their places as part of the bride of Christ.
