Jeremy Kliewer became half-time youth pastor at Hepburn (Sask.) MB Church effective Jan. 15. He has a Bachelor of Christian Ministries degree from Bethany Bible Institute and served as assistant dean there for one year. He is engaged to Jacki Petker. They are planning a July wedding.
Al Enns resigned as German language associate pastor of North Kildonan MB Church, Winnipeg, effective Nov. 15, 1997, after serving there for four years. He has an M.Th. from Regent College in Vancouver. He and his wife Susan have ministered in Paraguay, Germany and Canada. They are seeking the Lord's direction for their future.
Dan Harder has resigned as youth pastor of Parliament Community Church in Regina, effective July 31, after serving five years. He served part-time for three years while completing a B.Th. at Canadian Bible College, then became full-time in September, 1995. He has a diploma in broadcast communications from B.C. Institute of Technology and has also studied at Fraser Valley College and Capernwray Bible College in Australia. He and his wife Helen have one son, Christopher, 7. They plan to attend Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina, where Dan will pursue an M.A. in religion and Helen will complete her B.A. in religion. They are also open to further ministry opportunities.
Bill and Sandra Glasspell of Caronport, Sask. have become interim pastoral couple at Regal Heights MB Church in Moose Jaw, Sask. Bill recently completed studies at Briercrest Biblical Seminary. The Glasspells have pastored several churches and are presently involved in part-time ministry with Shantymen International until June 30. They have three children, Eric, Geoffrey and Jennifer.
Lee Harding completed his interim pastoral role at Woodrow (Sask.) Gospel Church May 1 after serving there since January. He has a B.R.S. and B.Th. from Briercrest Bible College. He continues to seek the Lord's direction for his future.
Cornerstone Community Church in Surrey, B.C. welcomed four new members by baptism May 25: Al Friesen, Lana Friesen, Dale Watson and Dortha Watson.
Coaldale (Alta.) MB Church held a commissioning service for Harold and Anne Kasper May 18. After a furlough of six months, the Kaspers returned to San Juan, Argentina May 20, where they have been missionaries under Gospel Missionary Union for 32 years. They have three grown children.
Ken Kliewer has been installed as president of the Manitoba chapter of the College of Family Physicians of Canada for a one-year term. He has served on the executive for the past five years and has had his family practice in Altona, Man. for 23 years. He and his wife Iris have two children, J.D. and Karin. They are members of South Park MB Church in Altona.
