Board of Communications: Internet expansion planned

The Board of Communications is responsible for facilitating communication within the Canadian MB Conference. The primary mode of communication has been print. The Chinese Herald, Le Lien, the Mennonitische Rundschau and the MB Herald promote communication in four different languages.

In order to coordinate the Canadian Mennonite Brethren presence on the internet, the Board of Communications is planning to hire a webmaster on a quarter-time basis in the summer of 1998, pending approval from the Canadian Conference. This webmaster will assist churches and conference ministries in developing and maintaining websites that will enhance their ministries.
