Tenth Annual Northern Women's Retreat (Manitoba)

Simonhouse Bible Camp was the setting chosen to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the retreat for women from across northern Manitoba. "God heals our wounds" was the theme around which Lois Edmund from Winnipeg guided the 36 participants on the weekend of September 19-20. The purpose of healing, according to Ezekiel 37, is that people will know that God is the Lord. As healthy relationships are developed, healing occurs within the contexts of family and church. Exceptionally warm weather, wonderful food, and a time to create a craft, hike a trail and visit a friend made the weekend memorable.
