Some key administrative personnel are leaving Columbia Bible College and moving on to other ministries at the end of the current college year. Dean of Students Garth Klassen, Associate Dean for Men Jamie Heide and Director of Athletics and Recreation Bruce Enns will be leaving the College in June, 1998. Heide has accepted a position as Dean of Students at Providence College and Seminary in Manitoba, while Klassen and Enns are still exploring other ministry opportunities. All three have been at Columbia for lengthy periods of time--Enns and Heide for nine years and Klassen for six. They are much appreciated and will be greatly missed.
George Schmidt will be moving into the Dean of Students position from his present position as Associate Academic Dean. Schmidt had been Dean of Students at Columbia from 1983 until 1992 when a serious accident forced him to step down.
The Associate Dean for Men position will not be filled at the present time. The College is advertising for a new Director of Athletics and Recreation. Walter Unger, President
