The celebrations started with a barbecue Saturday evening, followed by an evening service. People reminisced, recalling how God had led and blessed the church since its beginnings in the early 1940s to its formal organization 1947 and to the present. Former pastor John Siemens concluded the evening with a devotional message on God's faithfulness.
On Sunday after breakfast at the church, the congregation praised God's goodness in a worship service filled with special music and a puppet show. Former pastor Ken Sperling encouraged the congregation to live as obedient followers of Christ.
Caterers provided lunch, giving the women a well-deserved rest and opportunity to enjoy the fellowship. The afternoon service brought more special music and greetings from Ralph Gliege, Saskatchewan conference minister. Former pastor Jake Schellenberg reminded his listeners of God's goodness and faithfulness in the past and exhorted them to trust Him for the future.
After lunch most of the guests seemed reluctant to leave, but were glad they had come.
