NYC 99 Prayer Notes: Worship

DOXA will lead us in worship singing at NYC 99. DOXA, a group of Spirit-inspired musicians led by Vijay Manuel, has had a major impact on youth and young adults in the Abbotsford, B.C. area. Every Sunday night, 1500 people come out to sing and worship together at the Central Heights MB Church. Pray that the ministry DOXA has had will transfer to the National Youth Convention. Pray that they will be prepared to minister to youth from different regions of the country.

Many people who attended Banff 95 commented on the worship: "freedom of worship (dance and movement)"; "the worship team was powerful"; "I became free to praise God"; "first time to sing and cry in a long time"; "I experienced complete joy and cleansing during the worship band concert". Clearly worship is a powerful component of our national youth convention; it needs our prayers.
