Steinbach (Man.) MB Church held a commissioning service for new senior pastor Norman Neufeld on Jan. 25. Guest speaker for the morning service was George Toews, pastor of Manitou (Man.) MB Church. Neufeld is former pastor of The Church at Pine Ridge in Springfield, Man. He has a B.R.E. from MB Bible College, a B.A. from Waterloo Lutheran (now Wilfrid Laurier) University and an M.Div. from MB Biblical Seminary. He has pastored three years at Emmanuel MB Church in Onida, S.D., six years at Mountview MB Church in Stoney Creek, Ont., eight years as senior pastor of Parliament Community Church in Regina and three years as senior pastor of River East MB Church in Winnipeg. He and his wife Irene have three adult children, Karis, Jason and Justin.

Vauxhall (Alta.) MB Church has hired Aaron Stout as its associate pastor with a youth focus for nine months of the year, starting next Sept. 1, after he takes the summer off. Presently, he works at the church as an intern pastor three weeks a month and takes classes one week a month at Millar College of the Bible in Pambrun, Sask. He will be graduating after four years of school in April. The church created the position in order to reach out to the youth in the community.

Correction: It was incorrectly reported in the Mar. 6 issue of the Herald that Isabelle and Jean-Marc Queval have three children. They do not have any children. The people named are Isabelle's siblings.
