New Resources in the Making

FRESNO, CA.

At its meetings September 24-26, 1998 the General MB Conference Board of Resource Ministries decided to launch a new youth devotional series within its youth Bible study product line. The first release, A Walk on the Wild Side, a study of the book of Mark, is slated for release in December. A manuscript on prayer was also accepted for publication. The new series will provide a thematic approach to devotional study for youth.

Given the positive response to the worship CD More Than Music, the Board agreed to do a second recording. There are songwriters within the Mennonite Brethren Conference who are making a significant contribution to the contemporary worship music scene. Resource Ministries wants to make these songs available for use by the larger MB constituency.
