Mennonite World Conference's new Web site, www.mwc-cmm.org, offers prayer requests, news and information about Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches around the world. Mennonite Resources Network designed the interactive site free of charge. The hypertext includes an international prayer exchange, a ministry of the Global Anabaptist Peace and Justice Network. Access to MWC's Web site does not require high-speed modems and computers, but groups are required to register and receive a password before posting prayer requests or information on the site.--MENNONITE WORLD CONFERENCE
Faith Dilemmas for Marketplace Christians is being published in Chinese by the Olive Christian Foundation of Taiwan. The foundation was founded in 1979 to provide resources to Taiwanese Christians in business. Written by Mennonite Economic Development Associates personnel, the book contains 13 case studies of issues Christians face at work.--MEDA
The Association for Literacy through Literature plans to distribute between 800,000 and 1 million Bibles a year in Brazil. It will offer Bibles for $3.80 US, about the same price as a popular edition offered by the Brazilian Bible Society.--EPNS
A teenager from Winter, Wis. says she was told she could look up Christian-based religions, but not witchcraft and "earth religion on the school's Internet connection. The school denied her claim, but is considering a policy that student users will not access and use "controversial materials".--EPNS
