Craig and Leanne Dicker became associate pastor couple of Arnold Community Church in Abbotsford, B.C. on March 1. Craig has a B.A. in theology from Briercrest Bible College. He worked for One Way Adventure Foundation in Hedley, B.C. for three years, then served for a year as a pastoral intern at Central Heights MB Church in Abbotsford, while also working half-time for Youth For Christ. For the past three years, he has been working full-time for Youth For Christ. The Dickers are expecting their first child in April.

On Jan. 10, Jim Bush resigned, effective March 31, after seven-and-a-half years as senior pastor at Mission (B.C.) Christian Fellowship. He previously pastored Shekinah Christian Church in Stratford, Ont. for three years and taught at Liberty Bible Institute in Stratford and Victory Bible School in Broken Arrow, Okla. He has a B.A. in psychology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont. and an M.Div. from Oral Roberts University. He and his wife Karen have three children, Rachel, James and Lydia. They are open to further ministry.

Albert Baerg has accepted an interim pastoral assignment at the new River of Life Community Church in Sorrento, B.C., beginning March 1. He will fill in for a while as the church, started by church planters Lloyd and Lisa Ninaber and just recently affiliated with the B.C. MB Conference, seeks a permanent pastor. Baerg resigned last summer after five years as senior pastor of Peace Arch Fellowship in South Surrey, B.C., and has also pastored in Brandon, Man., Leamington, Ont. and Winnipeg.

George Toews has resigned, effective July 31, after 11-and-a-half years as senior pastor at Manitou (Man.) MB Church. Previously, he pastored for six years at Trinity Mennonite on at Mennonite Central Committee headquarters in Akron, Pa., Jan. 5-15. Eleven are beginning overseas assignments, and 23 are beginning North American assignments. Marian Savoy of Victoria is beginning a two-year assignment as a store manager for Ten Thousand Villages in Victoria. Previously, she owned and operated a shop in Victoria. She and her husband Stephen are affiliated with Saanich Community Church.

Rick Schultz was baptized Feb. 7 in Hope Fellowship Church, Saskatoon.
