On Friday, April 23, the Canadian MB Conference Executive received a letter of resignation from Reuben Pauls, Executive Minister of the Canadian Conference. He has served the Conference faithfully and energetically for the last four years. Possibly his most lasting contribution will be the leadership he has provided in moving many of our churches and provincial conferences into a Refocusing process that has been and continues to be productive.
The reasons for the resignation are primarily family and travel related. The decision was taken after extensive consultation within the family and among trusted mentors and friends. Pauls expects to transition back into a local church pastorate after terminating his service with the Conference at the end of July. Canadian MB Conference news release.
